We are the developer and distributor of desktop software products designed for media processing, workflow automation, and data transformation.

We collect only minimal data necessary to operate licensing and basic functionality.

This may include:

  • Device identifier (HWID)
  • License-related identifiers
  • License validity and expiration information
  • IP address used for license validation
  • Application version
  • Technical validation timestamps

We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or media content.

3.2 User Content

Any audio, video, or other files processed by the Software:

  • Remain entirely on your device
  • Are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted by us

We do not access, analyze, or store user content.

4. How We Use Data

Collected data is used solely for:

  • Picense validation
  • Preventing unauthorized use and abuse
  • Fraud detection
  • Enforcing device binding and usage limits
  • Providing license-related functionality

We do not use personal data for marketing, profiling, or analytics.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract (license validation and enforcement),
  • Legitimate interest (fraud prevention, security monitoring, and license protection),
  • Compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

6. Data Hosting and Location

License validation servers are hosted within the European Union (EU).
We do not transfer personal data outside the EU unless required for legal or operational reasons.

7. Online Communication

For Trial and PRO versions, the Software may perform limited online communication to:

  • Validate license status
  • Verify trial eligibility

For Enterprise (offline) licenses, no online communication is required or performed.

8. External Tools and Third-Party Services

The Software may support integration with user-provided external tools or services.

We:

  • do not control these tools
  • do not receive data from them
  • are not responsible for their data processing practices

Use of external tools is entirely under the User’s control.

9. Data Storage and Security

License-related data is stored:

  • locally on the user’s device
  • or on secure servers for license validation purposes

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted communication (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and server security practices, to protect license-related data.

10. Data Retention

We retain license validation logs (including HWID, IP address, and timestamps) only for as long as reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, license enforcement, and legal compliance.

For Enterprise licenses, additional compliance verification data may be processed in accordance with the applicable enterprise agreement.

11. User Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • request correction or deletion
  • restrict or object to processing
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Our Software is not intended for use by children under the age of 16.
